Privacy Policy

1. Personal information definition

Global Partners (hereinafter referred to as “GP”) defines personal information as information about an individual (name, date of birth, and other information that can be used to identify a specific individual) as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, information such as e-mail addresses that is used in connection with a specific individual, age and other attribute information about an individual that is combined with personal information.

2. Purpose of use of personal information

GP will collect and acquire personal information by announcing or notifying the purpose of use, and use personal information within the scope of that purpose, except in cases where we have the prior consent of the individual or where required by law.

3. Restrictions on the use of personal information

GP will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the prior consent of the individual. However, this does not apply to the following cases.

  • When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.

  • When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.

  • When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.

  • When it is necessary to cooperate with the national or local government in conducting public affairs, and obtaining the customer’s consent may interfere with the execution of those affairs.

5. Secure management of personal information and supervision of employees

GP will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to otherwise ensure the safe management of personal information. 9. Handling of access logs

Our corporate website, other websites operated by the GP, and cloud services provided by the GP may use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, Inc. to improve services. If you use Google Analytics, Google will collect, record and analyze the history of your visits to our site or cloud system based on the cookies we issue. We will receive the results of the analysis from Google to understand the usage status of our customers. The information about you collected, recorded and analyzed by Google Analytics does not contain any information that identifies you as a specific individual. Such information will be managed by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.
