Global Partners (hereinafter referred to as “GP”) defines personal information as information about an individual (name, date of birth, and other information that can be used to identify a specific individual) as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, information such as e-mail addresses that is used in connection with a specific individual, age and other attribute information about an individual that is combined with personal information.
GP will collect and acquire personal information by announcing or notifying the purpose of use, and use personal information within the scope of that purpose, except in cases where we have the prior consent of the individual or where required by law.
GP will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without obtaining the prior consent of the individual. However, this does not apply to the following cases.
When required by law
When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local public body, or a person or organization entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the person in question is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.
GP will not disclose or provide personal information to any third party, except as stated in the purpose of use or in any of the following cases.
When you have given your consent
When disclosure or provision of information is required by law.
When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.
When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.
When it is necessary to cooperate with the national or local government in conducting public affairs, and obtaining the customer’s consent may interfere with the execution of those affairs.
GP will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to otherwise ensure the safe management of personal information. When we allow our employees to handle personal information, we will supervise them in a necessary and appropriate manner to ensure the safe management of personal information.
GP will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.
When GP receives a request from an individual to disclose, amend, or delete data in our possession, we will respond to the request to a reasonable extent after going through our established procedures, including identification.
Cookies (information that is sent from the server to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s computer in order for the server to identify the user) are limited to content for the purpose of improving usability and services, and do not contain personal information.
